Don’t Take Me To Church

Don’t Take Me To Church

Climbing up the pillar posts,
Chilling as the holy ghosts,
Serious man wearing white cloaks,
Church hall full of old folks,
Sssh.. they sing, between hymns, from the back of their throats,
Old man tastes the body of Christ and chokes.
It's almost over
a choirboy boasts.
I can't wait to go home to my Sunday roast.
