Armistead Lindsey Chain Poem Kay Bradley Member Write Showcase Thasia Anne Wendy V Tanzer

By Meadow Grass

Collaboratively Written by: Wendy V Tanzer, Kay Bradley, Armistead Lindsey, & Thasia Anne

Grazed by the meadow grass
My calves had been tickled
I’m through chewing and waiting for a flower a’ blooming
it just takes so bloomin' long
my patience is thin as bee wings
and my mind is calm as a field mouse
that had been chased by a hungry cat
-scattered and disoriented in the heat.
Sweet sun,
Could you shine a little calmer?
Hereford and cream
Colored calves
thier bellies grazed
by the
Meadow grasses
