I saw the postured seating
- face forward - chin up -
But an empty plate for eating.

Flies thrummed buzzing wings
- hollowed out - dripping down -
Feasting on the heartstrings.

Your corpse used as a flower vase
-- water held - death dwelled -
Adorned in maggot petal gauze.
