Tweezers

Written By Melinda Taylor

I take my time as I sit at my mirror
Turn the light on bright
To see much clearer
And I take my tweezers steady in hand
And then I begin with precision
I find the stragglers way down low
Then work my way up
Going real slow
And I find the ones that are really hard to get
Never letting my tweezers slip
I make a nice arch in my brow
Don't even ask me how
I've been doing it since I was real young
I wish I'd never begun
It's a pain to have to tweeze every day
Before I put my make- up on
I get that outta the way
But when I'm finished I think they look nice
But oh my gosh
At what price
