It’s a strange thing To go without It could be anything Whatever you’re missing Let’s call it purple You were so dazzled by the prism Its show of light and colors You didn’t realize purple wasn’t among them So many wonderful hues Tasting the rainbow Is delicious fun Taking time And as it passed You were happy Content Wished for nothing Until the day Purple walked in Bringing with it Everything purple brings You like purple You miss purple How long has it been since you’ve had purple? You want purple The prism shatters The rainbow dissipates It’s a strange thing To find what you've been missing When an unwished wish comes true
